Sendlinger Tor

Is awesome. It's a medieval gateway (from the 1200s, I think) and it opens on a major shopping street now. There's even a Lush there! It heads right down to Marienplatz (the city center), so it's a cool walk.

Asamkirche is also there, right in between all the stores, but has been closed for renovation since I've been here. I hope to see it before I leave, it's supposed to be gorgeous inside.

I've been down there a couple of times at night with Jen, to eat and to wander, and window shopping is great. As was the food at Altes Hackerhaus. Mmmm, pork...
