Frauenkirche

One of the city's most famous landmarks, Frauenkirche is also being renovated, at least on the outside.

It's very beautiful inside as well-the stained glass windows are lovely, and the architecture is incredible. I went downstairs into some strange little crypt (why were people buried in chuches? no holy cemeteries? grave robbers? money? what?) and snapped some creepy pics in there.

I don't have the strength or thigh muscles to climb the 300+ stairs into the famous onion domes, where there is a great view of the city. The 160ish at St. Paul's in London almost killed this fat girl, doubling that probably would kill me for real.

I'm not religious anymore, but I do light a candle as a blessing for my family and friends whenever I go into one of these churches. Can't hurt, right?! Lol.

"The Devil's Footprint" is famous, too. There's a story about how the devil got mad and stomped his foot and left a mark in the concrete. Got a pic of that, too :)
